The taste of adventure, friendship, fantastic landscapes, and fun are the fundamental ingredients of MOTOTREK500.
For the 2025 edition, we will discover a new route, as always from the Apennines to the sea, on lost paved roads through the mountains, with curves, hairpin bends, and small villages; another exciting and unforgettable tourist experience!
The challenge is open to all motorcyclists riding any kind of motorcycle and scooter with an engine capacity of at least 100cc.
FOURTH EDITION
From Dawn to Dusk
The irresistible charm of the first light of dawn calls out to MOTOTREK500: the start is at 5:30 AM when the night ends and the sun will soon rise over the Apennine hills.
Good headlights are needed to cut through the darkness.
Register your team
Teams of two or three motorcyclists are allowed, even with bikes possibly of different brands or engine capacities.
To have the most fun, create a well-matched team of close friends and navigate together to the finish line.
20 WP stations for the medal
Navigate using the official WHIP app for smartphones (iOS or Android), which will provide both route directions and confirmation of transits at the waypoint stations, which will be 20 for the fourth edition.
Mount your phone on the bike!
Navigate using the GPS track with the official WHIP app for smartphones (available for iOS and Android), which will provide the entire track and all waypoint stations.
At least 72 hours before the start, each participant will be given an access code to the app.
From this 2025 edition of MOTOTREK500, the app will not only provide navigation instructions but also allow those without a premium WHIP account to access all maps of the areas covered by the route for the duration of the event.
Participants must install the app on their smartphone, create a free account, and mount the smartphone on their motorcycle.
MOTOTREK500 is a tourist adventure that can excite all motorcyclists: part journey, part challenge, to be experienced in company, without timed trials, but at an appropriate speed, managing your average pace wisely and without making navigation errors.
You can participate with any motorcycle of at least 101cc, registering a team of two or three motorcyclists to share the adventure.
The start is early, at 5:30 AM, and you have just over 14 hours to return to the starting base after riding and navigating for 500 kilometers and hitting all 20 waypoint stations.
The prize is the coveted FINISHER medal, which will be awarded under the finish arch to all members of each team that completes the route by passing through all the stations.
